This is a storage system built with structural metal studs of galvanized steel and lateral containment elements that form a rectangular “tray”; having a base that could be its own ground floor, a flat concrete slab or an underground cavity.
We manufacture three models of lateral grain containment structures:
• Of lateral studs with electric welded mesh and plastic mesh.
• Of lateral studs and galvanized corrugated bolted sheets.
• Of lateral studs and recessed pre assembled bolted plate modules.
The corners are structures with reinforced and galvanized steel studs.
Each structure is fixed to the base by means of steel stakes driven into the ground.
Loading and unloading of grain
Loading of grain can be done using a mobile conveyor belt which will move around the center of the silo container with a longitudinal route from one head to the other, or the auger; similarly applied to the previous case or from outside in a transverse way to the lateral walls of the bunker. Another way of loading it is by the installation of a fixed mechanization system located on the upper center of the bunker longitudinally set. It consists of reticulated structural columns supporting an auger, horizontally applied with an input hopper in both ends, in the two opposite heads. The grain will enter the hoppers and from there it will dump on the floor, from where it will begin to accumulate until a natural slope is formed to the height of the augers that are going to carry the grain along the deposit to complete maximum storage capacity.
